Measure first.
We time the work and measure today's error rate before anything is built. That number is the baseline.
One system at a time.
We pick the one workflow worth taking over and agree a target in writing. If nothing is worth building, we say so.
A person stays in charge.
Anything the system is unsure of goes to a person before it is written anywhere.
The right model for the job.
We test models on your own documents and use the cheapest one that passes. We resell none of them.
What we believe
The relationships are the business.
Businesses that move goods are built on people who know each other: who is good for it, who ships on time, who will pick up the phone. Nothing we build stands in for any of that, and we would be suspicious of anyone who said theirs could.
The largest losses are ordinary errors.
Losses rarely arrive dramatically. They come from a figure retyped wrong, a charge nobody billed, a claim pack finished after the window closed. Work checked against the record as it arrives removes most of that. Where the system is not certain, a person decides.
The office does not have to grow with the business.
Today a firm that moves goods adds a desk for every vessel, lane, client or trade. When the paperwork is handled as it arrives, the next one does not need a new desk behind it. That is how the largest firms in the industry already run. We think a mid-sized firm can too, one workflow at a time.
